B.I.O.N.I.C.

Overview:

It is a club to help support students and staff going through challenging times and prevent other students from falling through the cracks. B.I.O.N.I.C. Teams in schools empower students to reach out to their peers who are new, sick, hospitalized, bullied, or lose a loved one.

Student Council

Overview:

The St. Croix Educational Complex High School Student Council consists of twelve students, with three delegates from each grade level. SCEC Student Council provides a forum for student voice and involvement in school issues and activities, provides opportunities for student leadership experience, and fosters relationships between students, faculty, and the community. Additionally, the SCEC Student Council assists in resolving school issues to make the school a more positive learning environment, works on school/district-wide projects that benefit the community, and organizes exciting activities that build school pride for the entire school.

 

SCEC Student Council promotes citizenship, scholarship, leadership, and cultural values through initiatives and projects. We are dedicated to the following goals:

 

  • LEADERSHIP: Supporting students in developing their leadership skills and knowledge

  • SERVICE: Helping build a climate of compassion and tolerance via volunteerism and service to others

  • STUDENT VOICE: Promoting the student council as the voice of the student body and ensuring that every student has an opportunity to be heard

  • ENGAGEMENT: Encouraging students to become involved in school, community, and decision-making

Mu Alpha Theta
National Mathematics Honor Society

Overview:

The purpose of the Mu Alpha Theta Chapter is to inspire a keen interest in mathematics, to develop strong scholarship in mathematics, and to promote the enjoyment of mathematics among high school students.

 

Qualifications:

Students must complete at least three (3) mathematics courses, each grade being at least 85%, and have earned an average of at least 90% in all the mathematics courses that they have completed.
