Honors &
Advanced Placement
Students in 10th through 12th grade are given the opportunity to enroll in year-long, 2 credit, college-level English, Calculus, U.S. History, Biology, and Psychology Advanced Placement courses. Participants in these challenging courses can earn college credit, based on their final exam performance. Students can be recommended to take AP classes by their teachers and school counselor.
AP Calculus

Description: AP Calculus AB is organized around limits, derivatives, integrals, and the Fundamental Theorem of Calculus. AP Calculus BC includes series as well as limits, derivatives, integrals, and the Fundamental Theorem of Calculus.​

Description: AP U. S. History explores the ideas, theories, and methods of the scientific study of behavior and mental processes. You’ll examine the concepts of psychology through reading and discussion and you’ll analyze data from psychological research studies.
